Welcome
I want to welcome you to my blog. BeFIT
I am Sherlock, I have a passion for fitness, but understanding of the mind,
body and soul.
These are the things that are needed to achieve that healthy state with your
body.
I am a personal trainer and I also study Health and Wellness to help me
understand fitness, which cannot fully be accomplished with out the proper
nutrition and wellness.
What I always tell my client and friends,
When you feel like quitting...
REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED
Hey there, I like your blog and I like your motto. I was thinking about becoming a personal trainer since I basically do already with my friends and family. But, I am not much of a motivator. I don't have any empathy or sympathy for really anything. Hard to motivate people when you can't really relate to them. My plan is to be a dietician if I decide to further proceed a career in the health industry. In the mean time, health and fitness is just a normal part of my life. I figure, if you are at the gym or with a trainer, its because you want to make changes in your habits and lifestyle. So, why complain or threat to give up? Nothing in life comes easy that is worth having. I'm sure you can relate to that.
ReplyDeleteHey QueenG22,
DeleteI agree to a certain extent. Motivation is a tough thing not everyone has that kind of discipline. I have days I fall off or I am pretty good but its also that I am my own AD if I am not at least trying to practice what I preach, I ain't no good.. Its tough to be a trainer because it is a hustle and you catch a lot people like the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water but you cant make them drink" so yes some of them you need to have empathy and sympathy cause they may have bigger issues.
