Physical-Spiritual-Psychological
On a scale of 1-10 my physical well-being is an 8. I work
hard, I train hard but my eating habits suffer because of my crazy hours at
work or sometimes I just don’t have the money. There is definitely room for
improvement with my training also but I see big accomplishments in the last 3
to 4 months. The spiritual well-being is still very new, I know of it but not
as focused. I would probably be a 4 maybe a 5 with push. That’s why thank god
for my wife she would be a 10 plus and gives me that push. Now psychological
well-being I would be a 10 but you ask my wife she may give you a different
answer.
My goal to improve my physical well-being is get into the
habit of planning and writing down my daily activities, with my spiritual it
would be to just get more involved, maybe participating in bible study every
Tuesday or Church on Sunday or dedicating 1 to 2hrs a week for my time to
reflect and understand. I think what I do for my spiritual goal would help with
my psychological well-being
Not sure what exercise but church and bible studies would
help as activities.
I like your idea of a bible study and agree this is a great way to improve your spiritual well-being. I know when I have done bible studies in the past it was a huge help, but I find between four kids and homework I just do not have time to do a study. I do plan on spending more time reading the bible and praying. I would suggest reading Proverbs since there are 31 that is one for each day for a month.
ReplyDeleteI rated myself an 8 in physical well-belling because I also feel I work hard, but there is always room for improvement. I feel I can improve one my eating sometimes I slip and just figure I will work it off at the gym. One way that helps is if I plan out my meals in advance. I fill a few days worth of veggies and fruit in a bag for my kids lunch, which is helpful when you are busy this way it is already made and you just have to grab and go.
I also have a hard time relaxing and just being still, but I am really making the effort in this class to do it. I am so surprised at how much it helps, but do agree it is going to take some practice and some getting use to to be able to fully relax.
Don't get me wrong here, but it really is nice to hear that other personal trainers do not have perfect eating and exercising habits. Like you I find myself sometimes (usually at the end of the pay period) in a situation where I can not afford to eat the way I want and I end up up just settling for whatever is in the house. Thank you for being so honest!!!
