"One cannot lead
another
where one has not gone himself"
This saying means to me as a trainer
and a person studying health and wellness how do I look speaking and telling
people about good nutrition and physical fitness and I am eating fast foods 3
to 4 times a week or I am a smoker and over weight by choice. In simpler words
“ Practice What You Preach”
Yes I do have obligation to my clients, to be
developing my health psychologically, physically, and spiritually because my
knowledge and well-being is a part of my work. My appearance and sense of
understanding helps clients to have confidence in my work and me. This helps to
keep them motivated and goes back to the first question "One cannot lead
another where one has not gone himself".

I agree with you 100 percent. It is really hard for someone to take you serious if you are not practicing what you preach. I have a friend show sells those wraps and supplements and claims how amazing they are and they really work, but she has been selling them for a year now and she still looks the same and nothing "magical" has happen to her, so it is really hard to take her serious when she still looks the same.
